Report mail abuse

Received unwanted, harassing, or deceptive mail sent through PostalGenie? Tell us.

What we do

PostalGenie is a print-and-mail service: our users write and approve their own letters, and we print and mail them. Every letter we send carries the sender’s real name and return address on the envelope, every account is verified, and every letter passes an automated screen for threats, harassment, and fraud before it can be mailed. We take reports of abuse seriously: senders who misuse the service are blocked from sending further mail.

How to report

Email support@postalgenie.app with the subject line “Mail abuse report” and include:

  • The sender’s name and return address as printed on the envelope.
  • The approximate date you received the letter.
  • A photo or scan of the letter and envelope, if possible.
  • A short description of why the mail is abusive, deceptive, or unwanted.

We review every report, and where it is substantiated we block the sender’s account from sending further mail through the service. If a letter contains threats of violence or appears to be part of a crime, contact local law enforcement or the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (1-877-876-2455) — we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.

What we can’t do

We can’t recall a letter that has already been mailed, and we don’t disclose a sender’s account details except as required by law. Blocking a sender stops future mail from our service only; it does not prevent someone from mailing you directly.
